These paintings were done by my Winter Break Class. We got ideas from three sources;

1) Grandma Moses, (1860 – 1961) Sugaring Off ,

2) Pieter Breughel the Elder (1525 – 1569); Return of the Hunters,  and

3) a currant photo of ice fishing in Latvia. Here in Alto we have no ice yet.  These are 18″ x 24″ acrylic on canvas. My students are 4th grade through sixth grade.
