I started this painting over a year ago but it lacked something. I took it up again and spent another 20 hours on it. It’s a memory that won’t leave me, a place with personal significance. I have not attempted architectural accuracy: instead I’ve given it a cubist perspective; distorting relationships and light sources. I’m happy with it now. It conveys peacefulness and confusion at the same time.
It is oil on canvas, 41″ x 53″ and comes in a refurbished frame. I will sell it for $1300.00 including tax, shipping and frame.
