Spring Flowers

It’s time to walk along the Coldwater River and enjoy the Anemone, Marsh Marigold, Bloodroot, Dutchman’s Britches, Wood Phlox, Violets and Virginia Bluebells. The northern forest floor in April and May is a balm for your soul after the tough winter we had. Hopefully the Coldwater River will recover from the recent manure spill form a dairy farm upstream which turned the water inky black. It has always been a trout stream so it really needs to be protected.
