It’s Halloween tonight. Children said goodbye after attending classes for the last two months. First we studied color and brush technique, then we painted out-doors and learned about light and shadow on a landscape, then we came inside and painted a still life of squash and apples we picked from my farm.
I’m sorry to have to close down the studio for the winter. I feel children need a creative outlet during a time of limited social activities. I noticed an eagerness to develop their hand-eye coordination and understand new ways of seeing.
Hopefully better times are ahead and we can meet again in the spring.
